Name Difference in Marraige Cert and DOB

Hello

Have 2 issues wiht my supporting documents and need you help.

1.I have only a copy of my Birth Cert, which is hand written and hence the Gender isnt clear. I certainly wouldnt be able to obtain another duplicate one now. Given my situation what is the best alternate i can do?

2. My Wife's Fathers name in our Marraige Cert is spelt as (David), where as on her Brith Cert, the name is spelt as DaviEd. How big of an issue you think this is and whats the best i can do to fix this with out going for a new birth cert or change my wifes birht cert/

Both are minor issues.
For you both > Submit a copy of school certificate which has your DOB and your parents name (either father, mother or both).

Thanks. But my parents name isnt mentioned on the school certificate

The only option next > Submit an Affidavit evidencing date of birth for yourself and your wife separately.
