N NewUser2018 Hero Member Jun 15, 2017 326 67 Nov 6, 2017 #2 change your name first then apply for citizenship, otherwise it will only cause u headache and waste of $$. dont change your name and be proud of family name. I would only change name if have criminal past & under witness protection.
