Name Change document post ITA

Hi,

I have received an ITA for the express entry program and I'm required to submit a change of name document. I'm a 28 year old male, and my name was changed when I was 8 years old. All my legal documents, passport etc are in my new name and my old name is not referenced any where. I wanted to know what documents I need to submit to prove that I was known by my earlier name till the age of 8. Appreciate any sort of assistance with this.

Ideally, you wouldn't need to use any other documents if all of your documents were of the new name after you turned 18. However, we should wait for others to respond!

I agree with dotslash227, simply write a letter telling them your name was changed at age 8 and none of your legal document is under the old name. That's what I did.
