New Delhi has a reputation of being quite a fast visa office, and I am guessing they are sending first to the visa offices with the best capacity to process. Slower offices (London/Buffalo/Accra) may be delayed a week or two.

Now I am becoming a little superstitious... ;) No AOR yesterday…
Hope to have some good news today.. :) :)

It's reminding me a true message from Bahgvat Gita,"Your mind is your true friend if U control it, but your mind is your greatest enemy if it controls U"..

Dear friend POSITIVE

IMHO, both CIO and VO require some time to settle with the whole issue...... Even for them ours is the 1st batch of post 26/6 ...... I feel they will send the applications in batches / bundles, rather than sending individually ....untill unless they get 1 application in 12 weeks for a remote VO as compared to ND... where they probably receive more than 12 applications in 1 week..... ;D ;D
So, CIO may may send in batches of 25/50/100 applications or may be month wise..... I sincerely feel you should wait for 30 days... and then contact VO..... All the Best.

Cheers, Anil

thanks a lot dear Anil....
waiting a few weeks is POSITIVE for me as i am busy these days.... ;D 8) 8) :P :P ;) ;)

Please find below the Mail i Recieved from New Delhi VO in response to my query on PCC

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

In general, you and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over must obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

Note that if you or your family members were under 18 years of age when you lived in one of these countries, the certificate is not required.

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your immigrant / visa application.

If you have resided in Canada, do not submit police certificates from Canada until they are requested by the office processing your application.

It is your responsibility to contact the police or relevant authorities to request issuance of police certificates.

If you and/or any of your family members have resided in India since the age of 18, please obtain Police Clearance Certificates for each person.

For districts other than Punjab, police clearance certificates can be signed by the:

- Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP)
- Superintendent of Police
- Deputy Superintendent of Police
- Commissioner of Police
- Deputy Commissioner of Police
- Additional Commissioner of Police
- Station House Officer (SHO)
- Various inspector and constable ranks
- Subdivisional magistrates
- The Regional Passport Office

Please note, however, that only the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), or the Regional Passport Office may sign a police certificate for residents of the Punjab.

Dear all
I hope you have noticed the Highlighted portion in the above post

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your immigrant / visa application.

Please correct me if i am reading between the lines, it says befor you submit your application,

This is my query
My Visa Application reached CIO on 7th of Oct 2010, hence can the Issue date of PCC be any time after 7th July 2010?
