Hi all,
I'm hoping somebody is familiar with this situation and can help me. I received an e-mail on the 26th from CIC requesting my passport. I sent it to them the very same day with FedEx and they received it on the 27th. Today I got home from work to a note from UPS on my door saying they have a package for me from Canada that requires my signature. Upon tracking the package, I found that it was sent to me from Etobicoke, ON, on the 28th. I am freaking out a little bit now, since I don't know what this package may be. I don't believe it's my CoPR, since I've seen that that usually takes 1-2 weeks after they receive the passport, and also because I sent them a prepaid FedEx envelope for them to return my passport to me (not UPS). Furthermore, my status in MyCIC has not changed...it still says that the review is in progress, that the interview is not needed at this time, and that the final decision has not started. I've read that this changes before they send the passport back to the applicant.
Does anyone have any idea what this package could be? It won't be available for me to pick it up until tomorrow art around 1pm, but the anxiety is killing me
