Hey everyone!

I hope someone can help me.

My husband has just registered for MyCIC to apply to extend his visitor's status (we're applying for PR in the family class). I am the sponsor and he is the person being sponsored.

MyCIC is asking if he has a UCI. We have the UCI from our permanent residency application, but when we go to ecas to access it, it is my (the sponsor's) information that is entered. Should we say that he has a UCI and enter it anyways because he is included in the application, or do we write no because it is technically my UCI.

Thanks!

If he hasn't been issued a document by CIC, then the answer is no.

Alright, so even though it is an application for him to become a permanent resident, because it is my information associated with that UCI, we don't enter it in MyCIC for his account?

Thanks so much for the quick reply, just wanting to confirm I understand you correctly :)
