I applied twice for a visitor visa to go visit my GF in Montreal and it was rejected both times on the basis of not enough family ties to my home country and travel history

I have supplied bank statements (showing almost 30k $ and a lot of transactions) of my father who will help me finance the trip, invitation letter from my gf , tickets booked , enrollment certificate from my university to prove I'm returning to complete my studies , I supplied all information about my family and they're all home and I'm the eldest son of four.. what can I do ? This is frustrating
Ps my tickets are non refundable

How long did you say you wanted to visit?

What evidence did you provide to show proof of ties apart from your school enrollment?

When someone is young, single and has little or no travel history - it's not unusual to be refused since CIC may have concerns you aren't just a genuine tourist and ultimately have plans to remain in Canada long term.

Is there any additional evidence you can provide to show proof of ties?

i submitted an invitation letter from my girlfriend and return tickets to egypt on the 22nd of jan, no other evidence was submitted because i don't what else can i submit

Do you have any assets? Are you working part time? Did you submit proof that you have paid your tuition fees for the next semseter (not just proof that you are enrolled in a program)?

It's quite possible that a visitor visa approval simply isn't possible for you at this point due to your age, status and country of origin.

We never advise that people purchase tickets before their visa is approved. You either include a flight itinerary or if you want to purchase tickets, buy ones that are fully refundable.

well i am working part time but that is hardly provable, i did not submit proof that i paid my tuition fro the next semester as i didn't yet...

sucks to hear that .. i thought that showing a ticket that is paid is proof of goodwill... can i submit my mothers and siblings passport copies and pictures of us maybe at home or something, sounds ridiculous i know.

Unfortunately, as scylla said, it can be very hard to get a visitor visa in your situation no matter what documentation you submit. My (now husband, he wasn't at the time) applied for a TRV to visit me FOUR TIMES and was rejected each and every time, despite having a detailed itinerary, invitation letter, paid plane tickets (they were "non-refundable" but we actually did get a refund with proof of visa denial, so check with your airline), and meticulously completed documentation. It would probably be easier for your girlfriend to visit you in your country - that is what I ended up doing. Honestly, it was way easier to get the spousal PR than it was to get a visitor visa for 2 weeks.
