Hello Seniors your expert advise is required,

My profile is as follows
10 - 60.2 %
12th 55%
B.tech ECE 60.8%
Ielts 6.5 overall L-6.5 R-6.5 W-6.5, S-6
2.5 years experience in Telecom field
College- Humber college, toronto
Course taken- PG diploma in Wireless Telecommunications

i have applied on 12 july and my visa application got refused on 6 August.

Reasons given by CHC are as follows.

1. You have not satisfied me that you will leave canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision i considered several factors, including
* No travel History
* Family ties in Canada and in your country of residence
* Purpose of Visit
2. Other reasons
* Your Proposed studies cannot be considered a logical progresion of study.

I am now again trying for VISA in general category for January 2014 intake. Please guide me how can i make my file more strong and overcome these reasons. As per my view i don't think the reasons they gave me are justifiable

Not sure how it works but I would suggest write a good SOP explaining "why" you have chosen this course and "how" it is relevant to your previous studies and working experience.

Also, explain to them about your future plans in a very convincing manners to let them know that your intention is ONLY to gain higher expertise in your field and you wish to come back after your studies. Show very STRONG ties of your home country.

A strong SOP must convince the visa officer on the below points,
1. You have STRONG ties with your home country
2. You WILL come back to your country after your studies
3. Reasons why you have chosen this course and how it is relevant to your studies
4. How this course will help you achieve your career goals
5. Other points that I mat not be able to think of but might play a critical role in decision making for the VO.

Hope this information helps .... I leave the rest for the experts!!

Did you attached your parents income tax returns ?

Did you attached a SOP explaing how a 8 months course can help you achieve your goals after graduation and its relevancy with your previous studies ?

Your marks are constantly average its not any issue but still VO can make it a issue ( depends on his mood )

If there is a NO to my first two questions ... then these were the things missing from your profile

RDX, is it necessary to apply with parents income tax returns?

I thought a bank loan/GIC and tuition fee receipt should be enough to apply

Yes, You needs to show the parents income source. VO will consider that as the backup and strong tie up with your country.

For that you can talk to any CA he/she will make Income tax return of last two year. even you can show the minimum amount both for your mother and father.

:) :)

but income tax return is not in spp checklist and it is clearly written not send any additional documents unless told ???
