As I wrote on the title, I have study permit valid until 2021, but my study was done last December, so based on CIC after 90days my visa will be expired and that is 12,March,2019.
I got married to Canadian husband on January 18 and applied for marriage certificate on that day. However, they are still working on January 1st documents. I applied for the rush service and ask them if I can get it soon but they said there is no way, and gave me the file number of my marriage registration. I don't think I can get my marriage certificate until my study permit's expiry date. So, I was thinking about few options.
1. Apply without marriage certificate before visa is expired. I heard that it takes almost a month to open the document and I think I can get the certificate in 2 weeks. So I'm thinking about sending it as soon as possible I get it..
2. Extend to visitor visa. I don't know if I can extend it because I don't have marriage certificate so I can't prove why I need visitor visa.. also it takes 2months through online but CIC says I should have valid permit when I apply for sponsorship spouse. So, maybe I should wait until I get visitor visa and apply for PR and OWP.
3. (With my passport, I can visit Canada 6months without visa.) Go outside of Canada(maybe border) and come back with my husband with all the documents proves that we are actual couple this weekend. Then I don't have to wait for visa, but very high risk will be there I guess.. but I'm considering it because I would like to apply for sponsorship spouse as soon as possible since I got sick of being non employed in a while.
Please give me advice and thank you for reading.
