Hie all,

I applied for a study permit in canada but it got refused. I have already done my MCA(Masters In Computer Applications) and now i am willing to do Project Management in IT course from canada. The course duration is 1 year . The visa officer gave me a reason . He said i was not able to satisfy him that i will come back to india after the completion of my studies.I respect high commission's decision but now i am afraid to apply again. How can i convince him online that i will definitely come back to india after the completion of my one year program. Also he specified that my (Project Managment -IT) course is not reasonable in his eyes. I am soo confused . I did completed each and every form. I have more than 70% marks in graduation and post graduation. Can anyone please guide me what steps should i take into consideration before applying again for the study permit.

Regards,
Surabhi

I appreciate your reply to my post. But i dont want to indulge myself in PHD or another Masters. I just want to gain some educational exposure from canada and the current program to which i am willing to go has apprenticeship ( Internship) program for 4 months.

After masters you should try for a Graduate Certificate Programme or maybe another masters.

Let's come to your refusal note

You should provide evidence that you and your family have established presence in india. You can demonstrate this by getting your movable, immovable and liquid assets of you evaluated by a Chartered Accountant. The chartered accountant will provide you a letter that has all the details and value of your properties.

However you can also attach property documents and investment certificates with the chartered accountant letter.

In addition to that, you should provide a solid Statment of purpose mentioning the following.

1) You have no intention to stay in Canada after studies.

2) You have your elderly parents and relations in india who will need you back in india.

3) You will have a solid future in india after your studies.(make a complete future plan and explain how your career can be benefitted by studies in Canada)

These are the few things that a student can demonstrate as "Strong Ties".

Note- please don't copy sop available online. Just have them as sample and write your own with your original situation.

Good luck

So here what i would recommend Surabhi... if i would be on your place , i will go for CAIPS notes, to see whats the exact reason or thing in my application made VO to think that i will not come back and why he thinks my program is not related to my study background.

Best of luck :)
