Hello Everyone

Hope you are well .

Unfortunately today I got a message that my application has been rejected for 2 reasons :

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.

A little about me :
I already have Tourist visa for Canada valid till 2021
I applied for a diploma in business administration in University of Victoria ( this course is 14 month long and its under continues study division which is much cheaper than other courses )
I am married and when applying it was only for me and I mentioned in my letter of intention that I am taking this course because I couldn't attend university earlier and now I have been working since I was 18 ( im 31 Now ) and now I would like to take my knowledge to next level by getting a diploma in a well known university and after graduation I would return to my home country and start a business with my life .
I am originally Iranian but have lived in Dubai for past 20 years

I appreciate if anybody can help me

As per me brother, it’s purely luck to get study visa after that much of a gap. Moreover, strong ties to your home country should be provided. If you want to get visa, get stronger SOP and prove stronger ties to your home country. Wish you luck.

Continuing studies is really meant for those with previous post se ondary education. I would apply for a college program. You would have to show how this 14 month course will lead to career advancement. You should know that there is a good chance your family will not be able to come to Canada with you.
