My Student Visa was Refused !!!

I just came here to share what has happend to me a few months back when i applied to study in canada. I have received my acceptance from canadore college which is in north bay ontario. I have done some extensive research and i have found that this is one of the few colleges that has the subjects i wanted to study. Just to share some info, i have received my associates degree from the united states and went back home. Anyway after getting all my paperwork i go to the Canadian consulate located in my hometown in Jordan. As soon as i go in for the interview the visa officer seemed to be in a bad mood she told me to sit in a very patronizing manner. Her first question was " Were you deported from the united states" I was very supprised by this question and i told her what kind of question was that? and then i said ofcourse not ! she then said what college was i applying for. I said Canadore college, she said never heard of it. At that point i realized that the visa officer was not gona give me the visa. I replied the college is located in north bay Ontario search it on the interent. she asked me a few more questions and then she said your visa will be refused. i did not know what to say i just smiled and left the room. I advice anyone who goes for an interview and notices the visa officer is in a bad mood, just ask for someone else.

I am sorry that you got such an absurd refusal.
I know that there are people that failed on the first interview, asked for a second one and passed.
Do you have the option to ask one more interview?
I suggest you to take some proofs that you left US voluntarily in order to come back home. For instance a document showing how long you were allowed to stay in US and the date of your graduation; I think your acceptance papers for the new CA college would help too ... it should work if you show papers ...

Visa officers are trained to deal with various aspects of individual applcations. They would always look into the records at their disposal before interviewing a person. If they have information about your being removed from another state, they will ask the applicant .Its the applicant who has to satisfy the offcer. If you feel they have a wrong inormation you can aways challange the decision. write to the Cic office that the decision was made on false/incorrect information. Send them the proof. They will review the matter. Its a wrong impression that visa officer make their decision according to their moods. They are accountable and have to answer for a wrong doing.

Very much strange story, i guess you should apply for any big and good university get acceptance there and then change university there no problems once u will be in canada would be easier. very rude behavior raised a hell for a this visa officer right a governments etc

I really don't see any thing wrong with your visa case. It is one of the interrogation techniques used by many visa officers to get the truth out. If you kindly write down all ur questions and answers asked I can perhaps help you more with it.

Please understand visa comes under immigration law and law required proof and I m sure you fumble in answering one of the questions which acted as a proff to refuse you visa.

Well visa officers are trained to dealwith individual applications efficiently and in accordence with the immigration law. If injustice has been done to an applicatnt the facts,he/she may produce evidence and write to higher authorities.
