I'm from Sri Lanka, applied for a Student visa on the 8th May 2017 including an Open Work Permit visa for my spouse and Visit visa for my 3 years old daughter.
I got a message (txt and email) yesterday requesting more documents for further processing. When I contacted VAC in Sri Lanka they asked me to come before 3pm yesterday. But it was too late as I got the mail at 2pm.
Email received: "Dear ***************, Visa application, 20170508****************. You are requested to submit additional documents to the Canada Visa Office,Colombo for further processing. Please call VAC helpline number for further information"
After one hour, I got two more emails regarding my spouse's and daughter's Visa applications. It says "Dear ************, Visa application, 20170508************* – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, Colombo, on 16/06/2017 to the Canada Visa Application Centre, Colombo.".
My concern is, we didn't do our Medical tests upfront and there is no any requests (emails or phone calls) to do our Medical tests. And I'm confused as I was asked to submit more documents (still don't know what are they) and my spouse's and daughter's passports have been processed passports dispatched.
And, they have not requested to collect the passports of my spouse and daughter. It said "Processed and dispatched".
Any similar cases? any idea what is going on?
