Hi. The title says pretty much everything but here is some detail:
I've applied via online form to extend my student visa status on November 5th. I thought it would go through so I started the new job and finished my fall term.
I've got the email yesterday, December 24th, saying that my application was refused because of lack of documents which is acceptance letter from the university. (which I believe I attached) It also mentioned that my temporary stay permit was expired on December 24th.

Now I'm panicked because I need help but everywhere is shutting down until January 2nd and my online application page is emitting error all day and I could not fill the form.

What should I do next? Restore the status as visitor and re-applying to the student visa with the right document, or is it even possible to do?
Or should I go back to my home country as soon as possible, because I don't have the stay permit anymore?

I am sorry for the mess, I have no idea what should I do next. Help me, please.

Edit:
Actually, I have another question to ask. Because I've already enrolled into winter semester and year course is still going on... should i stop to attend to the university until I receive the study permit???? or I can explain in the process of order the restoration of the status????

You need to do restoration of status and extend your study permit at the same time. You can't work or study while waiting for restoration, you can also choose to leave and apply for new study permit. If you leave your restoration will be canceled. See your school advisors about required docs, if you are a continuing student you need proof of enrolment not the original acceptance letter.

Thank you very much. Once the university office is open, I will visit them to reach out for the document, and I will submit the restoration as soon as possible.

Hi, I am in same case as yours. Could tell me what you did? I mean restoration. Was it approved?
Thanks in advance
