Hi guys, i am a living example of updating docs at cio. I sent my application without relative proof and educational certificates of my wife. Just 15 days before receiving PER i sent those docs to cio with a letter explaining my mistake. It was a definite NER without those docs.

Good day. Your answer is very very useful for me. In my existing application, my previous employer did not mention my main duties in reference letters. In your case, your spouse educational certificate. Please let me know

1) when you sent your additional documents , CIO already encashed your credit card or BD( because you sent additional documents before 15 days to PER)??

2)did they give any information or email, after they received your additional documents?

Yes cc was charged about 30 days earlier. On realizing that i am short of these documents i shoot an email to cio and the very next day got their response. In their reply they wrote that i can send the documents but there is no guarantee that doc will be added to my file. In my case i took a chance but your application has just reached there. Send them the doc as soon as your cc or bd gets through. Send the doc through tracking system as you will know when some one receives it at cio. Leave the rest on god.

I requested them to give me a chance to update the documents as my application is still undecided and also wrote that " i know without these docs i will receive a heartbreaking rejection ". Finaly PER was in my email.

My application was received by CIO on 25-AUGUST-2011. I sent additional documents on yesterday(04/10/2011). Now it is half way to CIO. I can check by tracking number. After somebody received from CIO, I will print out pdf format for tracking record , and received by who and email to CIO. I hope CIO will add to my original existing application. I am waiting for my credit cash escash.

I want to know one thing, after your credit card encash, before PER, you still don't have the file number start with # right. So CIO can find your additional documents and put into your existing application package?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, in 4 of my references letter from my previous company, there is only 1 letter mention main duties(which is current job, working about 1.5 years). Although I attached all my appointment letter, inside this never mentioned about maim duties.

According to the checklist first page, although i sent additional documents, I think my chances of PER is very less:-(. Now I am waiting for my black or white result. Now i have to prepare documents for re-apply after I got my results.please god help me.

Any comments?

Yes I already sent all of my additional documents on yesterday(04/10-2011). Now it is half way to CIO. I used fastest courier service. It take 2 days to reach to CIO. after CIO received, I will email to CIO explaining the situation. In my cover letter, I mention my full name, DOB, nationality, NOC, application sent date, application received date and by who, passport number, my Singapore IC number and photocopy of form IMM008(with code on last page) and my passport copy. Thanks for your comments.
