My parents got rejected unfairly

Hi, I moved to Canada 6 years ago studying and now I'm working with a valid open work permit.

my mom visited me twice and my dad once with her. They got refused only 4 days after applying for having ties in Canada. I don't understand why that happened because they came twice and never overstayed or anything to suggest that, nor honestly they want to stay here as they have jobs and life in my home country.

can they apply again?
should I be worried?
what should they mention in the section asked if they have been refused before?

I feel this was extremely unfair.

This is totally unfair. These days they use Chinook which is AI system and makes no sense. No manual review of files. Total mess in the system.

What is their citizenship? Where do they currently live? Have they retired since they applied the last time? Did they apply together and did they apply separately last time? When is your PGWP expire? How much liquid funds do they have and did they show proof of? Do they also own property/home? Did you include proof of property ownership and the assessed value? Are they still working? Did you include proof of approved leave? What length of stay did they request? How long were their previous visits? Do they have other children and where do they live?
