You need to apply for a PRTD but in doing so having been away so long it is likely will be refused leading to your PR status being revoked, Once it is revoked or you renounce yourself you will need to apply for an ETA assuming you are a French or visa exempt passport holder. If neither then you will need a TRV.
To board a plane for Canada as a PR you need either a valid PR card or a PRTD else if not a PR either an ETA if visa exempt or a TRV if not visa exempt. Alternatively as a PR you could go via the US land border assuming you have a US visa, although still likely you get reported for failing the residency and your PR status gets revoked.

Have you been living outside of Canada with a Canadian spouse who is working outside and were unable to come back?
If not, then you have already failed to meet your residency obligation. You can apply for PRTD which is a document for Canadian PR who is outside of Canada and does not have a valid PR card. The process of PRTD (PR travel document) will evaluate your number of days living IN Canada and if you are accomating your spouse working outside, if the situration apply to you. Then they will approve or decline it.
Once PRTD is declined, I think they will start the process of revoking your PR status with given option to appeal the decision with further proof.
For ETA (electronic travel authorization)or TRV (travel visa), that's for when you are NOT a PR anymore.
Those are normal visa or travel application for non Candaian PR/citizen trying to visit Canada.

You have to do some research/reading although as above odds are that once you submit an application that your PR status will likely get revoked or you will be offered the opportunity to renounce PR yourself.
