My ITA has come and now I have to submit documents within 60 days. But my work permit has not come till now.

1) Can I request for some extra days (beyond 60 days) to submit my work permit?
2) Can I first show them the work permit submission receipt, and request for some extra days?

Please reply. It's really urgent.

Thanks.

??? why do you think the work permit is required?

Work permit ? Do you mean proof of having received a job offer for which you're claiming 200 points ?

Do I just need a job offer letter from the employer at the time of submitting documents? or I need a work permit also?

dude dude... wait..

so if you give job offer+lmia you get 50 points end of story.

But if you get job offer+lmia+work permit( the paper you get when you land in Canada) , you are free from proof of funds as well.

But, I am already working in Canada for past 1 year and have filed the application under Canadian Experience Class. This means I don't have to submit proof of funds.

If you are claiming points for the job offer, it needs a written offer from your employer.

Work Permit is not a job offer, however, it is one of the document that you "may be required to attached, showing until how long your WP is valid.

Be very careful with this job offer document and ensure it covers all the points required by IRCC for claiming job offer points, as case officers scrutinize this quite a lot and have seen a lot of rejections in the past.

I had claimed points for job offer myself and I did submit all the required documentation for it.

I'm considering moving to Hamilton myself and thinking of buying a house there. What are the living costs like ? Do you know what the real estate prices are more or less for a small-family house ?
