My iqama expires in may; college also starts in may, should i renew before applying?

Hi. I applied for study permit on dec 14 for stidy permit from jeddah but was refused on jan 4 based on :
Immigration status, purpose of visit, current employment situation and insufficient financial resources.

I have attached relevant documents for all reasons except immigration status. My iqama expires in May and my college also begins in May..so should i renew my iqama then reapply for study permit? Or just submitting iqama copy would be fine? Also, is exit reentry neede

Since my application got refused once, i want to make sure things are right this time.
