My IELTS is EXPIRING on 30th May

Hello all
I have been requested to provide full document, i am collecting those right now and perhaps it will take longer, however my due date to submit 10july and my ielts is expiring on 30th May.

Should i send the docs before 30th May in any case??

Hi
It is always advisable to submit full docs in a single package to CHC,but in your case ,you can send all you have by 25 may to give room for shipping delay and send all other docs when you get them.

PLEASE ADVISE.

Send the package before May 30th so the score will be valid. If you do not have other documents like police clearance you may send them later. But it is always good to send all documents in a single package to avoid unnecessary delays.

IELTS is valid from the date of application to CIO, NS. When you have already received full docs request it means your IELTS submission has already consider valid till 10th of July-10

It is mentioned in Visa office specific instruction that It should not be older than one year upon submission. But it is not mentioned that too whom you submitted the docs CIO or Visa office? I have seen so many cases they got through even their IELTS was 14th to 15th months old when they submit the file to Visa office but they submitted it to CIO within 12th month period?

Since we dont submit ielts to CIO so "..upon submission" means when we submit to visa office.

@khalidsi,

Generally ielts is valid for 2 yrs but visa office instructions say it should not be older than 1 year as told by Ash, ar you aware of this fact? Also on 30th May will your ielts complete 2 years period to get expire ?

11.6. French language testing organizations
The Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry administers the Test d’Évaluation de Français
(TEF).
Note: For CIC purposes, applicants must submit results for the following tests of the TEF modules:
compréhension écrite (reading); compréhension orale (listening); expression écrite (writing);
expression orale (speaking). The lexique et structure (grammar and structure) test is not required for
Canadian immigration purposes. However, test candidates take it as part of the reading and listening
module.
Language test results must not be older than one year at the time of application.

R79(4) establishes these test results as “conclusive evidence” of the applicant’s proficiency in that
language.Officers cannot:
• consider any claim made by the applicant that the test results are an inaccurate reflection of
their true abilities;
• override the test results and substitute their own evaluation of language abilities;
• award points based on the results of any language test that is not administered by an
organization that has been designated by CIC. Non-designated test results may only be
considered as one part of an overall written submission and are not “conclusive evidence” of
an applicant’s official language proficiency
