My friend is in need of help...

Hello. My name is Adam and I have a friend who lives in Canada. His life is not going so well right now and we're trying to figure out various ways on which he could improve it. One thought that came to mind is him coming to live with me in America. We don't really know what would help as he hasn't finished high school. So without a diploma or any proper education I'm not sure of what we could do. If anyone has any insight or a plan that would could go by that would be amazing. I would love to get him out of there and have him start a new life here. Thank you.

You would be best off posting this question to a U.S. immigration forum. However the short answer is that immigrating to the U.S. is quite an involved process and there is really no short cut for Canadians. He would almost certainly need to find an employer who is willing to sponsor him to qualify. Finding an employer requires education and work experience.

Unless he has an American spouse or fiancee, I think it's unrealistic to think that he can qualify to immigrate to the U.S. now. I would recommend he focus on finishing high school in Canada and obtaining a few years of work experience. He will likely need a college degree or diploma as well.
