I applied for the super visa last year, and it got declined on that ground that I did not submit my father's military record booklet (they never asked for it!). I have applied again, attaching the military record booklet - but upon examining the application recently, have realized a mistake:

In the 5257B, in the section for military service - I only wrote one of the locations where my father served. There are two other locations where my dad worked, which are not mentioned. My dad was in the army for only a brief period over 50 years back and was never part of any military action, hence there is absolutely nothing to hide. I'm just worried that his visa will declined because the 2 other cities of deployment are not mentioned.

Am I worrying unnecessarily? If there is indeed a risk, is there something I can do now since the application has already been submitted a few months back?

Raise a CSE and explain the situation.

I raised a CSE and explained the situation (albeit I did this quite recently). I simply mentioned that there was a minor error in the form, and attached the form with the correct locations. The reply to the CSE request was that I should contact the consulate in Islamabad through another webform, which I did. The confirmation page after the form indicated that they would reply within 28 days.

Here is my dilemma: The day after I sent this info to Islamabad consulate, they approved my parent's visa. I'm not sure if they've looked at the new information. Would they cancel the visa as soon as they look at the new info? :'(

You sent the additional information before the visa was issued + your dad was in the army more than 50 years ago + he was not part of any military action, etc.... Don't worry or think too much :)
