I am currently living in Canada on closed workpermit with my dependents (Spouse: Dependent Visitor, Children: Study Permits). We are awaiting for my work permit extensions. I applied open workpermit for my spouse this time for one more year until 2021 Apr. Currently, the applications have been submitted.
Regarding my express entry profile for PR, I am holding 442 points in Express Entry Profile in CEC category without applied for Spouse. I have recently received notification of interest from Ontorio (OINP) last week. I might also get direct ITA in the upcoming draws for CEC.
I would like to keep my dependents in Canada with valid status.
My questions are:-
1. Will there be any impact on our Work permit extension applications / decisions if I apply for my PR? If there is no impact, I am planning to sponsor them for PR after 6 months I received PR.
2. Can my dependents continue to stay in Canada on open workpermit, Visitor if I get my PR?
3. Is there any way I can update my EE profile and get spouse and dependents added for OINP as I would get more points? If I add them, MY crs score would dorp to 422.
Kindly advice what would be the best legal option to move forward and keep my dependents stay. Please suggest if there is any other legal option available.
