Hello All,
Just wanted to share my exam day experience for others to benefit.
Today i wrote my exam it went extremely well 100% success. My exam was scheduled for this after noon. The test was extremely easy and all about common sense. In other words if your communication level is good you will finish that test in a blink do study the guide and do practice alot. I was done under 2 minutes. CIC staff was extremely nice and really very helpful. My interview went really well few questions were asked to asses my communication level. My interview only lasted for 5 minutes. The female officer was extremely nice but very intelligent. Two different applicants ended up getting a RQ. As per them US trips were the cause. My Oath letter had been promised within 6-8 weeks.
I wish everyone all the very best. I will keep you all posted on my Oath ceremony.

Good luck to all.

Congratulations! :)

oh those unfortunate RQ victims....i spoke to them as when i walked out after my interview both poor fellows were chatting to each other outside...and where it comes to my oath i been told by CIC official after the interview.

@OKK Congrats and hope we celebrate your Oath very soon. Did the guys get RQ just because of multiple visits to the US?! I mean many of us had multiple visits to the US, so does it mean everyone will get RQ or it is based on being unable to provide acceptable explanation for your multiple trips?!

Thanks dude i will keep you all posted on my oath hopefully should be in about 6-8 weeks....Well both of those guys had advanced communication skills so language couldn't be a barrier...what exactly triggered there RQ I cant really speculate on that...This assumption was made and reflected by those two individuals as they both were adamant saying "we got RQ because of our day trips and such to US"...Like i said i don't know whether they were missing stamps or they misleaded CIC by not declaring all the trips. Personally i been to US once in past 5 years and this trip was clearly mentioned in my application but CIC official didn't even asked me a single question regarding it.

I guess it depends on the amount of trips to the US.... All my family members have 10 year multiple entry visa to the US, but we never used it even once. Hope it's not a RQ trigger.

I really hope and wish that it goes well for you dude but i do know someone in the exact same shoes as you are they ended up with RQ. The only way you can avoid this is when you go in for your test you must take your CBSA traveler history to prove your statement.

lol yeah man my worries and nearly over just waiting on that Oath letter now....and my vote is with the party who will be loyal towards new immigrants, cut down on this inhuman citizenship time lines, cut down the insane long periods on this dreaded RQ and most importantly lenient on immigration policies and as of right now Liberal party is on the top of the list.
