I crossed from united States to Canada through roxham rd. But the eligibility appointment date given to me was May 25 next year. I was not given brown paper or anything. I noticed some of us were treated same way but there were some who left the border with their brown paper given to them right away. None of us could explain why some had brown paper and some were given appointment date. I moved to ontario so I requested my file be transfered and they changed the date again to January 15 next year. I have only doing nothing since then and it's so hard to find a shelter or a room for rent since everything is expensive. No work permit or nothing. Is there anyone experiencing this?

You know things changes every now and then when it comes to immigration. I heard some people are being locked up for almost six months because their home country ID could not be verified. Just find a way to continue live and avoid moving from Provence to Provence. Because as you do your case also extend.
