Hi all,
I applied and now my Case is RBVO - "In-process", got 2nd AOR too, but PR process takes too long time, can I go for 2years duration study visa of Canada, my admission will got comfirm next month if I pay fees for September 2011 term. what will be impact on my PR application?
I want to know more becasue one of the my co-worker got declined his 2nd H1B renewal here in San Diego.
My H1B expiry date is mid of November 2011, I am affraid because since last 2years 8 people H1B renewal got denied from my comapny and few people get renewal of H1B, so my application just applied and do not get any respond form USCIS, we just got payment reciept only.
my manager inform me that find another option if your H1B get denied than what to do? my company is big firm, they have 8k employees over the world.
so, please provide me some good information and it's advisible to enter in Canada on 2years study visa duration course. single word that " I dont want to go back India".

Prashant

you can surely apply for a student Visa by the time your Canadian PR visa is in process.
go for it. one will not harm another.

Thanks but can I got any benefits in speed up process or process should same? any chances that meanwhile I am in Canada so my case sure get PR?
now I am affraid about my H1B extenssion. one of our staff member waiting for renewal since last 8months. better to move Canada ASAP any how.

Prashant

if you meet all the requirements for a study permit then there will be no problem getting the visa.
H1B is not the best way to stay and work in USA, INS will not renew visas to those whom they'd be thinking unnecessary in their country. you should have obtained a green card now.

I already applied for GC USA, I never seat at home since 1st day of H1B , but our company is public sector shareholder's company, mostly who rejected those are IT and relatd field people, example: IT programers, network technicians, MBA some sales marketing field guys, but my is assistant director of mining technicians , I am the responsible who draw, Evaluate efficiency of production sites, Determine adequacy of personnel, equipment and technologies used for operations, Prepare work schedules etc for mining quarry, my pay is very high (USD$120K/year + benefits, same in Canada CAD$ 120k/year they offers , if I selected as Director of mining than over 200K/year salary in Canada and in USA over 250k/year in USD , but for this position in the USA need GC or citizenship) but still not PR holder so currious to move canada as safe backup, I can register in some MBA courses infact I choose some, but still looking for best solution, now a days H1B is no more safe.

Prashant

when will the GC be approved? any idea?

hmm. you're in a critical position now, to be in the safe side, take admission in a Canadian college and if your H1B is rejected, get into that degree program in Canada and in a year or two, you'd get your CAN PR be granted.

US is not issuing more H1B renewals coz they want their citizens to get those jobs coz currently US has 9.1% unemployment rate and they badly need more jobs to be created at the private sectors.
