If you are Canadian by descent, you don't require PR or work permits. If you are not, you will gain no benefit from having a Canadian parent. You will have to follow the same process as any other "Foreign National".

You need to confirm exactly when and how your dad got Canadian citizenship.

My dad was born in Cuba, and under Canadian law, if Cuban turned out to canada he was granted assylum, then citizenship, due to politics, the same goes for USA, so he acctualy got Cuban, Canadian and USA passports. Mind he got them like in 1980'ish so ages ago.

Basicaly he met my mum in Poland, and i was born in Poland, then he traveled to Canada got his passport there, I was rised in Poland.

it thats makes sense

I'm still confused, on the date you were born in Poland was he a Canadian citizen then or not?

oh i see what u mean now

i have to ask him, as im sure he wento to canada just before I was born, claimed assylum, but not sure when he get citizenship.

Can you tell me what would be in the case he was canadian before I was born? Whats then?

Whats difference does it makes? and is it really makes even im 35 now?

cheers

If your father was already a naturalized Canadian citizen as of the day you were born, I believe that would make you a Canadian citizen by descent. And yes even 35 years later, you still have claim to citizenship if you qualified when you were born.
