My citizenship application

My wife and I,applied for citizenship ,received by Cic in jun2013,started processing in sep2013
I was waived from test,my wife failed 1st time in jul2014,didn’t received 2nd time letter(it was torn and destroyed by mistake by our child)then aural test passed in mar2015,
RQ was sent to us,completed and sent with other requested documents,
Last correspondence between us and cic,was end of 2015
Our application in process any time we check online or call cic,now it is more than 6years waiting
What to do next ,for your info

A 6 month wait time is a long time. I would call the IRCC again and ask them what you can do to expedite the process since it's already been 6 years. Perhaps they are waiting for extra documents?
