Hi, I would appreciate if someone can guide how to go about applying as 2 sponsors like myself and my brother jointly applying for super visa for our parents in Pakistan. I came to Canada Sept 2013 and currently working temporary part-time in a hospital. While my brother has full-time good job but he came to Canada August 2015.

I am in a process of hiring a paralegal who suggested that strengths of me and my brother could be merged together (me being in Canada longer than my brother and my brother's good stable job). Does it make sense? Has someone applied jointly before. Is there any lawyer/consultant looking for potential client?

Any suggestions/ comments will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Fire the paralegal. The paralegal is 100% wrong. You and your brother cannot be co-sponsors. The only person who can co-sponsor with you is your common law partner or spouse.

While supervisa is not the same as parent PR sponsorship, only one person is responsible for the parent's supervisa. So only one of you can submit a letter of invitation to your parents. You can submit a letter from other brother showing financial support or accommodation to strengthen the success of parent getting supervisa but only one of you has to make the application and take responsibility of the parent's welfare.

This is no difference from having my parent submitting a notarized letter saying they have accommodation available with my TRV application for my (at the time) fiancée. I was still responsible for my fiancée's welfare during her stay.
