Pre-Assessed..
Hello. I am applying under SPP for January session and had few questions and I thought it'd be better to post them under one thread instead of multiple.

1- In student questionnaire, they ask for whether we've hired consultants. Now, do the consultants have to be approved by CIC ( or any other government body responsible for this matter )??

2- My Canadian-citizen uncle will help me partially with finances but I don't want to bring this up. It'll make the VO think I'll never return back. Should I just fill in my father's income? He doesn't earn some fancy salary...he's a farmer. but he's got assets.. . and can easily pay one year's fees. ( mine is 2 years program) I just don't know what to do regarding this ... any hint?

3. How do I convince VO I'll return back? I'm 19; freshly senior secondary pass out. I don't work and don't have any property on my name. But, all my immediate family lives in India though.

Thanks for taking the time out for reading... and if you've some advise regarding the above stated questions, it'd be appreciated :D

Allright, these are my thoughts :

1) I am not really sure about the consultants but I am guessing they shouldn't have a problem with a non approved consultant.

2) I went to canada 10 years ago and my cousin sponsored me and I lived with her during my studies. I did get the visa 10 years ago. I would advise you show as many assets as possible to make your case stronger. In my experience, if you want the visa officer to assume you're going to come home, you need to show as many fixed assets as possible. If your dad can sign you an affidavit saying you are his legal heir and will inherit property, I believe that should suffice.

3) This is the most important part. I think you ought to write the visa officer an SOP/Letter explaining why you wanna pursue education in canada. If your letter is genuine, visa officer would not hesitate to approve your application. The bottom line being, the letter should be compassionate and genuine to the core. You have to write your heart out, it shouldn't be an essay, just a one page letter would do where you'd have to clearly explain that you are really serious about your career and would like to see yourself as a successful whatever in 10 years time. Present your case that its a matter of life and death for you. Show that you are really career driven and this is the course that could make or break your career.

1. Your 'paid' agent must a member/approved by the ICCRC.
2. You must put off a certified educational bank loan/GIC (India).

thank you guys for replying. My agents will not charge me cause I guess they get commission from college. So can I fill in their details? I will get GIC and pay a semester fees in advance. Will this be enough to cover their financial requirements? will My father's stated income affect the application negatively even though I'll have GIC+ fees paid? ::)

...bump..... bump.... bump........ sorry I need more point of views..... ::(
