Multi-entry Visa - Crossing the US border to extend/renew?

Hi,

I'm new here. I tried to search the previous posts to get my answer but I didn't find the exact answer.

I have a multi-entry visa which expires in 6 years. I first came to Canada on June 4, which means I can stay till Dec 5. But I stayed in the States for a week in October. Do it mean I can stay in Canada till April 2013?

Only if you passport was re-stamped on entry in October, otherwise it is 6 months from the date of your original entry.
