I'm applying my work permit and my previous study permit is expired.
My question is: can I renew my MSP during this time? Or I have to wait until I receive my new permit?

No you no longer qualify for MSP. You do have coverage when it c9mes to covid testing or treatment.

I think you should call them, I know they were extending coverage due to Covid19. My daughter got an extension but we called before her study permit was expired.

I see some other people are also suffering for this same issue. Date expired because of Covid-19.
