MSP coverage on implied status

Does anyone know what happens if you are in BC and need medical coverage on implied status? My WP expired as did my BC health coverage. I am currently on implied status waiting for my new WP.

Call and explain your situation - that's what I did and they asked for a copy of my fee receipt(proof that I had applied for WP extension) and extended my coverage for 3 months.
