I have just completed my B.E in Electronics and communication in Tamilnadu, India.
My educational Credentials:
10th - 95%
12th- 90.75%
B.E CGPA- 8.1
I have good programming skills in addition too. I am very good at mathematics. I got placed through my campus placement but salary is not good. I like to pursue MS and get a good job at canada. I am really very confused about choosing MS specialisation and what are the best universities i can get based on my profile.

You have to do some research. There are not a huge number of universities in Canada. Some offer primarily undergraduate courses. Make a list and identify what programs you may be interested in.

Since i have interest in electronics and also programming, i am willing to pursue MASTER OF ENGINEERING IN ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING. With my profile can i try for some famous universities. I know my marks are not good enough to get into toronto or McGill but is there any chances of getting into university of calgary, simon fraser university or dalhousie university. one small doubt in addition. Which province in canada has huge demand for electrical and computer majors?

Would think that the top universities are U of T and Waterloo. Because of the AI programs McGill may be on the list but I would still try. It is really based on competition. Not sure if you have graduated from a good university or have other skills that you can show the entrance committee but I wouldn't limit yourself to just any university. Would also add UBC to your list rather than simon fraser. Queens and Western are good schools you should consider. University of Ottawa is good. The major tech hubs in Canada are in Montreal (more gaming and AI), Toronto, Kitchener/Waterloo and Vancouver. Not sure about where electrical engineers are needed but assume similar places. Most larger cities will have jobs available in these sectors.

Thanks for your kind replies. I will surely try for good universities. At last , I have one last question. As you said that, i know the job opportunities for Electrical is comparitively low than Computer science. I have deep interset in Data analytics and also i have got a job offer as a data analyst . Can i work there for one year and then continue my MS in data science in canada. As i am doing a cross major i am quite feared about my Visa approval problems. Will my experience in relevant field would eliminate the barrier. Awaiting for your reply with hope and patience.

Assume you talking about a job in India. Given your logical education progression and good marks I would assume you have a very good chance of getting a visa for a masters degree as long as you have the ability to pay for the degree. If your masters degree is in a slightly different subject I would explain in the SOP. If you are accepted to most universities for a masters or phd they usually trust that the university knows that you have the correct background to be able to complete the degree even if it slightly different than your bachelors degree.

Based on what you said, University of Waterloo might be best; McGill is a good choice, world renown and it's far cheaper. However, it's in Quebec. Student permit can be harder to obtain if you don't speak French even though it's an English school)
