got another quick question for you guys. on the cic website it says that

You must have a medical exam before you can become a permanent resident. Your family members must also have one, even if they are not coming with you.

We will not accept your application if your health:

-is a danger to Canada’s public health or safety, or
-would cause too much demand on health or social services in Canada.

We will send you a letter to tell you how to get the medical exam after we send your application to the visa office.

does that mean that all my family members ( mother, father, siblings ) have to undergo a medical exam even if they're NOT in Canada with me ( they're back in my home country ) and they're NOT coming to Canada with me?

This refers to immediate family members, i.e., spouse and children only.

-the recommended, and qualified clinics are provided in your MR
-make an appointment with the clinic you wanna go, and they will tell/send you all the relevant info (payment amt, payment method, photos requirement, drink more water that morning, etc)
-you might also wanna make sure the clinic will send your med report to OTT CIC as soon as they received it back from the labs [via express post/couriers with tracking info] since I've seen some clinics sending out reports only twice / month

all in all just relax you got your MR that's a great thing.

im little over-worried but just incase if there is something doesn't look good in the medical result, what shoudl i do??
Does the clinic show me the results first before sending to CIC???

Trust me you don't want them to call you re your results from the labs ---> this is usually a bad signal.

Most of Van/Richmond clinics will just directly send the reports to Ottawa IF everythings fine.

Plus, what else you can do if the lab reports look really bad,,,? Just relax buddy.

they will send it if everything is fine, what about if there is something wrong??
Let me know first before sending it?

tbll,

If there is something wrong (and we all hope there isn't), the doctor has a set of protocol to do additional tests. Therefore, they will call you, conduct additional tests, and then send a final report to CIC.

Exactly. And fair enough, the initial report will also included in the package sent to CIC.
