Dear All,

I have received the MR, PCC & RPRF request by email on 16 May. On 18 May, I got another good news that my wife is 1-month pregnant. My question is what should I do in this case? My understanding is me & my wife should go for the medical but my wife will not do the X-Ray and I should also send the PCC & RPRF to the visa office as asked within the due date. Is this correct? Do I need to send any other documentation to the visa office or medical centre? How can I complete the medical of my wife later on (the x-ray)? Pls help with your experience and expert advice.

Regards,
Fuad

Complete your medical and sent PCC and RPRF

You can deliver the baby in Canada (if you get visa on time smoothly before your delivery due date) and get Canadian Passport and Citizenship for new born.

Relax and enjoy.

What you've suggested won't work. The vast majority of doctors recomment against having an xray when pregnant since this can harm the unborn child. Without an xray - his wife can't complete the medical.

My wife had done her complete medicals when she was 4 months pregnant. Doing X-ray in 2nd trimester won't harm your baby if followed my a sheet.

I have got the ppr now, will soon leave for Canada n will get the baby delivered out there only. You are the father further decision lies on u

Thanks for sharing your experience. We have decided not to go for the X-ray even if there is 1% chance of damage to the baby. We lost our first child 1 year back, so now the 2nd baby has become priority than Canada. Also, I won't be able to stay in Canada for more than 1 month becuase of my job for the delivery of the baby. However, that could have been a better option! We will now complete all the formalities (except x-ray) and wait for the delivery of the baby. :(

Anyway, good luck to you & family for canada and wish you a very happy & prosperous life there. Please continue sharing your experience while in Canada.

Regards,
Fuad

Hi All,

I have got the medical request letter through email on 16 May and yesterday (29 June) I completed my medical exam. As my wife is pregnant, she didn't do the X-ray. I will send the PCC & RPRF Pay Order within this week.

Best of luck to you all!

Fuad

You realize that the visas won't be issued until your spouse has her medical and the baby is born and is added to the application with the fees? Your medical will have probably expired by that time.

Hi PMM,

Thanks for your comments.

Our baby's probable birth date is 3rd week/end of January 2014. After that I will add the baby in my application and my wife will complete her X-Ray. That is what the doctor told me to do. I will also add the "Pregnant Women X-Ray Pending Form" with the PCC and RPRF Fund, which I will send to the visa office by this week. Do you have any further advice in this regard? Appreciate your comments!

Fuad
