Hello All!

I was reading a forum and seen one post who also applied for full application. She said their application was screened again because of her answer on EOI. I just wanted to ask how I can update me EOI? I already received an LAA and currently processing my full application. However, I was confused with my answer on EOI. For this specific question "
Do you have official test results indicating you have language proficiency in Canada’s second official language at CLB 5 or higher?"

I also answered Yes, because I thought that the question is referring to French test or IELTS test result. I have taken IELTS test but not the French test. So I wonder how I can edit this. I am worried this will affect my application. Please advise. Thanks!

From my understanding of how the process works, you should decline the LAA and submit another EOI.

Hi guys,
good morning. I received LAA last month and I am just filling up the necessary details. However, I need some clarification. How do I get a Self Assessment form as mine was never saved and I cannot seem to assess it again Also, when they ask for reason for choosing Manitoba and also reason for choosing Winnipeg, what are they looking for?
Finally, please what is the time range for the entire application process?

Go online download d assessment form,fill it,scan and upload.
Reasons: good educatinal system, good health infrastructure and insurance, low cost of living, high employment rate,no racism etc.
Specified timeline is 6months but may take up to 18months or more.

My sponsor(first cousin ) in Brandon,Manitoba. i have more than 3 years work exp. and diploma in ME( Trade certificate) Age (21 to 45) Ielts Score CLB-6 and extra point 50 because i am applying outside of Winnipeg and I calculated my points overall 575.
so how much time will i have to wait for LAA or any responce.

Your score is quite high for you not to have got LAA since January. Something should be wrong. Did you get the auto calculated score from mpnp? SOMETHING definitely is wrong....maybe from you or from mpnp....but something is wrong. Please house, let someone with a better idea respond to this.

Age(21-45) 75 Points
Work Exp.(3 years 6 months in last five years) 60 Points
Education(Diploma in ME consider as trade Certificate)70 Points
Adaptability(First Cousin) 200 Points
Immigration destination in Manitoba outside of Winnipeg 50 Points.

As per Above mention details my overall points should be 575.

You have added 25 points for french language in your ielts score. Correct it .

There is mention on the site in language proficiency column
CLB 6 --- 20 Per Band that's why I mentioned 120.
May be I calculated wrong.....Can you please tell me how much points I will have to add for language.
