Hello everyone! As you can see from my timeline, I applied in 2012 and am now in Manitoba (landed in 2014). I am very familiar with the waiting game and I know how you feel. I just wish to share some resources to those who are nearly at the finish line to make good use of your time:

This website has Manitoban settlement information on many topics like employment, health, education, etc. https://livelearn.ca/ so you can be ready even before you land in Manitoba. (It is open resource, so you can access the articles as freely as you want).

For those who are already Federally Approved Provincial Nominees, if you wish to have a tutor for English, for your career, or for settlement, you can go to https://livelearn.ca/learn/one-on-one-learning/#e-volunteers. You can start learning even while you still in your home country. All sessions are done on Skype, with a schedule that you can arrange with your e-tutor.

All these resources and services are for free. English Online is funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to provide these services to new Manitobans. If you are interested, you can also email: mberezyanskaya@myenglishonline.ca or cloza@myenglishonline.ca to know more about English Online.

Good luck! And I hope to see everyone soon in Manitoba!

Hi!

Need help. I received my mpnp nomination certificate last may 2016 and need to submit paper-based application to CIC. may i know how many copies of each document or forms i need to submit?

Hi Everyone! I finally got my nomination after more than 2 years of waiting (submitted July 2014)! The nomination is only valid for paper based nomination and not for express entry. Is that really the case for applications received in 2014? Has anyone received a nomination that is valid for express entry?

How long is the timeline for CIC paper based application?

can you plz share ur exact timeline means on which date your sponsor get his call and ur nomination date............my status is "in process" so i want a guess.............thanks

Congrats on getting the nomination.
From what I have seen, everyone got theirs the same as yours, valid for regular stream. Unless they apply under the express entry stream from the beginning.
From here, you have 6 months to end in your application packet to CIC. After they receive it, your CIC processing time starts, and presently it is 16 months. It was 15 months until recently but it has gone up now.
I would say, gather all the documents and forms, and send in your application as soon as possible.

Here are the links for the CIC processing, tha applications etc:

Application Package:

Instructions:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-how.asp

Application Guide:

Let me know if you need anything else.

You only need to submit one copy of each unless specified otherwise (Eg: pictures etc).
Read this:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prov-apply-application.asp

and also this:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp

And I would say you need to hurry up and send your application ASAP! Your nomination certificate will expire in a few days if you received it in May!

myCIC account is something you'll get once your application is in the system and they start working on it.

These are the links where you can check your application:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/link.asp

Most people call is ecas (first link).
You can access them after you get your Acknowledgement (AOR) from CIC after sending in your CIC form.
They will send you the instructions on how to create and access your account in the AOR, so don't worry if you haven't received it yet..

Druce told me to link my Ecas account to myCIC. How to do that? And I ont even have myCIC account.

I am not comfortable with making account with Online banking Login.

So can I make my MyCICC acount using Government of Canada login (GCKey) with no problem?

Thanks.

Hi,
I think it will be advisable for you to write another IELTS as i have read in some forum that applications were returned due to expired ielts. to prevent the return of your application- it is better to write another test.
By the way Congrats on your nomination!

Thank you
