Mine took only 24 hours..... got UCI yesterday nd today I checked it says in process

i am an MPNP Applicant,
i received UCI no and AOR from Delhi Visa Office on 28/03/2016, they asked us to not to contact NDVO for 6 month, how much time is taken to issue medical request. is there any interview or document verification pending or only medical check and police clearence is pending ?

we also haven't send our PCC documents to Sydney/NS. neither NDVO nor cic/centralised intake office have asked for the same till date. when is right time to send these documents.


My status is in process.

They will request your PCC in the same e-mail they sent UCI to. You just have to wait it out my friend. You can always request GCMS notes and see how far/what they have done on your application.

Hi Joe,

It sounds strange, but something could be wrong here. Please double check that you are doing it properly. I know it takes less than a week or two to able to access your details once you have your UCI handy. I would suggest you CIC help line if the problem persist, they could give you a clearer answer

Dear applicant waitng for MR mean Medical request may be it il be take 30/40 days and that times ndvo inform you for pcc an all.

In my case I did a CSE and they sent me back an e-mail confirming that they (Local VO Pretoria, South Africa) received my file and will notify me when my file has been reviewed.

It does not show on your eCAS.

You will inform by the mail from local visa office

Not all of the VO's send out a notification e-mail my friend. I have read of numerous applicants that just received MR of PCC request from local VO and no e-mail stating that the file has been transferred. I guess every VO is different concerning processes and procedures.

Hi everyone, i have a question? I received LOR in December 2015 and my certificate will expire on May30 and I haven't submitted my PR application yet. In a week I will have it all ready to send. I have had to redo my IELTS as it expired and fill all documents. I want to know am I too late to apply? And how long it takes for CIC to confirm back that they have received my application? I am very worried. Please advise.

Do you have any idea about the validity of the police clearance certificates?
I think even you are just sitting with them, just like I am. Waiting for the Visa Office to request them right?

On the CIC website I read (cant remember exactly where) that the PCC are usually valid for 12 months. I then read about an EE applicant that submitted PCC older than 6 months and their application was declined because of this and they had to re-submit the entire application.

So, I am not 100% sure how long they are valid.

I then sent an e-mail beginning March to my local Visa Office and asked them about this. I asked if the attached documents would be sufficient and pointed out that two of them passed the 6 month date and one will be 6 moths old later this month. I received a reply last week that I should submit the original PCC (they did not tell me if I can courier/post/drop off in person). They said in the e-mail that they will request new PCC if it is required.

I have already applied for new PCC in March and have already received them. I am traveling to the VO today to hand them in, in person, and hopefully to find out how far my application is and if there is anything else I can do to speed it up.

As long as your application is received by CIC before the expiry date of the certificate it will be fine. Make sure that you send the application with UPS Courier Services www.ups.com as they have a branch in Sydney, Nova Scotia, this way you can track your package online and receive a waybill online that shows the exact date they received your application as well as the person who received it. It might be a little more expensive, but this is worth the money and it will give you surety that everything is order with your application.
