This detailed comment receives a +1 from me, well done and thank you for taking the time to give this detailed explanation!

Thanks Druce,

But I think the credit should be given to lijauco_jojo. He was the one who enlightened me re: IELTS validity vs. NOC codes.
..... I just cited what he posted.

... Good luck to all of us ...

Hi druce ... Plz make me clear with one thing that medical request only can send our loca visa office as i belong to india NDVO or cic also can ask for medical ???
The Medical Request will come from you local visa office. So you will only receive this once the file is transferred. I have read of some cases where the file transfer the one day and the next they receive MR.

I hope this answers your question?

Hi Justsingh, Druce and others,

I see now that it really depends on the local visa office. That's why it is essential for our file to be received ASAP by our local visa office, AM I CORRECT?

... Good Luck to all of us ...
Yes, the better your file is transferred the better. This does not show up on ecas, I only received the e-mail and my ecas is still 2 lines:

1) received 28 September (if i remember correctly)
2) in process 11 December

HeHe, Lucky ME :P Well I did a Specific Case Equerry and received news on 1/2 February 2016 that my file has been received by my local visa office. I received AOR 11 December 2015.

Hi Druce,
Congrats,
My son and Daughter were from the same visa office as you, SA,
They got file transfer and within one week they got MR
a week after medical im Bloemfontein they got their request to pay for PR and two weeks later they traveled to Winnipeg with PR
they took less than three months from AOR to PR.
So may all go well for you too.

Hi Bavon,

Congratulations.... That was FAST!

How did they know of their file transfer, please? Where does the information show?

I was already able to access the CIC login page, but it still says my PR aplication file is in process.

Thanks in advance for it answer.

Thanks in advance for your feedback and congratulations to your son and daughter!

Hi Go North and Znarfier,
We applied as a family (MPNP),
My wife, my last born son (19) and I were already in Winnipeg for more than a year on a work permit.
When nominated, we were given 4 certificates, one for my wife and I and three for the children (26, 23 and 19 of age)
the two children (26 and 23) were still in South Africa, so they applied from there( files were submitted to CIC here in canada).
They got emails from the Canadian High Commission in Pretoria to go for medical and to pay for RPRF, after that it was the submission of Passports.
Yes this was a fast process because they submitted in April 9th 2015 and in July they were almost done.
My wife my other son and I submitted ours on January 22nd 2015 and got our PPR on the 25th January 2016.
we are expecting the passports back this week and we will do the landing.

Thanks Bavon....

@ Druce, Bavon & others who received MRs,

Are the MR sent thru snail (postal) mail, or thru email?

... Good luck to all of us ...

Hi Go North, I did a Case Specific Inquiry, asking them if my file has been transferred. About 2 weeks later I received a e-mail from the High Commisioner of local VO, South Africa, Pretoria, answering me on the case specific inquiry and confirming the receipt of my application at their offices.

You will receive the MR through e-mail. I haven't received my yet though. Hopefully I will get MR before end of the month.

OHHHHHH Bavon, how I wish and pray that my file gets processed as quickly as your children's. We will celebrate big in Winnipeg my friend!

Hi There,

i have applied under the express entry and have 390 score.

I can get someone to nominate me from Manitoba as their friend. The problem is that the husband has already nominated a person , so i was wondering if his wife can now nominate me or can the couple only nominate one friend.

Please let me know.
