Submit your application now whilst the IELTS is still valid. It will depend on your profession if they will ask for it again. If your IELTS is lower than 6 average and your profession is a doctor or lecturer or something along this line where you will need extensive English ability, I will recommend you wait and get the score higher. I have read about one applicant that was approved by MPNP but got declined by CIC because his IELTS was 5.5 but his profession would require him to communicate extensively in English.

What is your NOC, occupation and IELTS score?

Hope this helps my friend.

Hi guys, Just a quick question.
Does work experience matter for CIC approval?
I am a software engineer, and i live and work in USA. Obviously my profession is not regulated.
I have already been approved by MPNP and got my Nomination letter, and I applied for CIC as well.
Just wondering if work experience matters a lot in CIC decision.
I have only been working for about 1 and a half year.

No need to panic, the most important tin is geting nominated, once u are nominated, CIC belives that the province that nominated u had checked all ur basic informations, ur background history, work history, personal history, MPNP will have checked 70% of ur applications and for them to nominate u, that means u are qualified to live and work in there pronvince
CIC is like a father to MPNP, what CIC does is that it checks ur advance informations about u,they will check ur face, who ur bringing in canada with u, there faces, ur criminal records, thats police report, ur medicals, thats ur health conditions, ur finger print, all the countries u traveled too, infact ur file cannot stay more than 4-6 month in CIC office before sending it to ur VISA office, and thats where d delays comes in, cos
VISA office are slow dis days due to thousands of files esp in asain countries, so u dont need to worry about ur work experience, there are few occations where cic reject nominations, very rare, esp when a nominated applicant provides a false documents corresponding to what d applicant submited to the pronvince that nominated u, and fee payment, some applicants wont pay and submit, thats automatic rejection

Like Ayokunlex01 said, NO NEED TO WORRY. If you have been nominated you are almost there. The only things that can have an affect on your application now is:
1) Medicals
2) Police Clearance
3) Background check

After this, if CIC/Local Visa Office is still not satisfied they can still request you to present other documentation and to be interviewed. This rarely happens.

Hello,
Yes the process for teachers is slow right now. One of my friend had applied as a clerk and he got his visa approved in April 2015. He had applied in December 2012.
In which year did you apply?
