check my timeline...
Online application - 21 May 2014
Assessment pending - Feb 2015
Assessment In Process - 29 Nov 2015
Sponsor interview - 2nd Dec 2015
Still status is Assessment In process...

Hope will get LOA next week.
NOTE: Immigration officer clearly told to my sponsor while interview that he will forward LOA to applicant via email in next 2 days.

If that's the case, you should receive the LOA within this day. Maybe the officer will forward the LOA 2 days after your status change to assessment complete. Hope that we get this within this month. It's so hard to prepare for CIC this December as there's so many holidays within this month. :(

Skilled Workers Overseas

Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 477

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 553

PLEASE NOTE:

1. For reasons which could include a large existing inventory of un-assessed applications; low labour market-demand; and/or significant barriers to labour market participation, Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas in the following occupations have not been considered in this draw, unless they were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative:

Registered Nurses
Secondary and Elementary School Teachers
Vocational and College Instructors
University Professors
General and Specialist Physicians
according to me it will applicable on 2015 mpnp files.

You are right. I assume that, this may be the reason they delay applications of Nurses, teachers etc.

I am a nurse applied in Feb 2014, Pending from Nov 2014.

I don't have any further updates...

Its only my opinion....

Please has anyone out there experienced thr challenge I encountered today. I have been trying to pay my application fee online and the fee payment site wouldn't open ?? Is this a general issue some kind of problem from my side ?

Hi,

What is the NOC class or category of your declared occupation in your MPNP application?
AFIK, only those in the NOC categories C & D are required by CIC to present upated IELTS. It was shared / posted by other CIC PN applicants that were ahead of us. Just do some back reading.

MPNP just mentioned a generic reminder regarding submitting updated IELTS to CIC in its LOA.

The preparation, examination (not to mention the extra cost) and release of results waiting times for the IELTS further add delays with the already longer than usual PR application.

...just my two cents ... ;)

Hi go north

I am under NOC B. Sad to say my agency is very hardheaded and will not submit my application. ANd, said I MUST submit new IELTS result. It is delaying my nomination for 3 months. i know its a waste of time and money...its frustrating!
