Just want to share with you that my online status already changed to Assessment pending. God is really good! Hoping for a fast process. Thank you guys for lifting up my spirit! I know that it would be another waiting period but I know we can do it! We will be there soon! Kudos to my batchmates who already got the same good news. And for those who are still waiting, your time will also come soon. Just pray and have a lot of patience. Thanks guys!

Congratulations my friend. We will all have LOA before end of this year. What are you guys thinking of timelines @ CIC ? What can we resonably work on? 8-12 months or longer?

About the CIC timeline? i haven't read much of that yet. But I hope that it will not take more than a year. ???

Hi Druce,

Can't we follow the path of Express entry after receiving LOA? It will give us additional 600 points and it wont take more than 5 months once we will be shortlisted in Draw. Pls suggest.

I think it's only 69 points. I only got 5 points as my friend will be my sponsor in Canada. How about you bro?

Can I participate in Express Entry if I have already been nominated?

MPNP applicants who are already nominated should not enter Express Entry as the MPNP will not be able to support this application. Nominated applicants should follow the steps outlined in their Letter of Approval from the MPNP when applying for permanent residence. For applicants nominated through one of the regular MPNP program categories, this includes submitting their permanent resident applications to the Centralized Intake Office, rather than using Express Entry.



I have an active application with the MPNP and would like to use Express Entry. What should I do?

At this stage, only those MPNP applicants directly contacted by the MPNP and advised to do so should submit an Express Entry profile as the MPNP will otherwise not be able to assist you with your Express Entry submission. All applicants should follow the steps outlined in their Letter of Approval from the MPNP when applying for permanent residence.

Please note that candidates who were not nominated through our Express Entry “sub-stream”, but decide to submit an Express Entry profile indicating they are a Provincial Nominee will be removed from the Express Entry pool after 30 days as provinces and territories can only confirm the nomination of those Express Entry candidates that were nominated to designated program categories.

On the assessment pending, may I know if this is the time where the officer will call the sponsor and the applicant for an interview? or this interview will be on the assessment in process? Also, do you have any idea how long are we going to wait for our status to change again to the next step? Thanks.

i am also waiting from 7th of July 2015 but still have not yet received the LOA .. because im paper applicant so have no option to check the online status.. hmm it is really frustrated..

I know it is frustrating, believe you me, time feels like it has been standing still, but just hold on, lean on us, we all know what youu are feeling cos we feel the same.

we shall all reach canada soon................God is good and is here with us every step of the way.

Keep the faith, pray and try to be as positive as you can, some days will be better than others but take it one day at a time.

after i receive my letter, what further do i need to know, how much more time will the entire process take.

Don't worry too much as if you haven't received any email concerning "Information Requested" It means it refers to your supporter or you employer.

Check with them and stay positive. You are very near to completion.
