This is the correct way. You do not submit sp2 with your application. Your sponsor will receive a e-mail with the empty sp2 plan attached and will be asked to fill in and mail back or drop off at their offices in Winnipeg.

My timeline for MPNP

APPLICATION SUBMITTED- 12th May 2014
SP sent -3 rd june2014
General stream
Still status isReceived

I will be thankful if some one give some idea about process time.

i need you opinion, because i just received refusal letter from mpnp saying i dont have strong connection in manitoba. My sponsor is my long distant relative, i havnt see him since birth because they already migrated in canada at that time. Spoke to him last year about my plan about mpnp. about the interview he keeps all his answer positive, but i think he wasnt able to answer all important information about me and my family. please give me some advice or opinion. i want to appeal regarding the refusal letter. maybe there are still some option to revert their decision.

Can you share your timeline ? When was your sponsor being interviewed and when did you recieve the letter of refusal?

Hi sanju_sun,

I submitted my application in April and status is the same. From what I read on the forums is that they are currently busy with November 2013 - February 2013 cases with some exceptions. I believe all 2014 applicants will have their MPNP Certificates by End June 2015. Be positive, believe and keep the faith - all will be good in the end.

Just remember that MPNP processes stronger applications (score high on self assessment) and applications of people working and living in Manitoba faster. They are not processed in order of being received. So you can't really go by how fast other people's applications are being processed unless their score and situation are very similar to yours.

I do know that once you see your status go to "Application in Process" that it should only be about a month before you get a decision. At least that is how it was for my BF.

True...but they still have to process ALL applications even if it only to decline them. By your reasoning they will never get to decline/assess the lower scoring applications if new and stronger applications keeps being submitted. So, logically, they MUST be working off some kind of time line. So yes, you cant really go by how fast other peoples applications are being processed....but this is the only guideline to work by...by checking others peoples timelines and drawing your own conclusions.

Some applications I have seen has changed to "Application in Process" in June 2013 and their sponsors was only interviewed in Nov 2013...probably depends from case to case.

All in all, I believe that all the 2014 Applications will be processed by June 2015. That is why they stopped taking in applications August 2014. Be positive, Hope, pray, keeping faith - this is all we can do
