The amount of time it takes will depend on how strong your application is (meaning how good they think your chances of settling are) They process people who already have job offers or are living in Manitoba the fastest. I have heard of people waiting over a year for MPNP nomination and some who have got it within 4 months.

From what I have read form others is that once you see your status change to "Application in Process" then you would be looking at maybe another month or two before you get your LOA. If you have a supporter I think this is the stage they usually interview them.

My boyfriends application sat in the "Application Received" status for a while then it went to "Application Pending" it sat there for a few weeks. Then it went to "Application Processing" for about another month. He received his LOA in the mail the day after the status changed to "Application complete".

Hello Mbgirlfriend!

I agree with your observations.... and I'm happy the way your bf's application is moving!

Is you BF already in MB or still out of MB? Anyway, I pray that you will be reunited in MB very soon... GOD bless!

Can someone help me know if the ielts score play any role in making processing of application faster or slower?

Thanks :)

Hi canwebmaster!

I believe - YES. That is why there is a Self-Assessment system which determines the "points" for the language qualification of an applicant.

As what the MPNP is saying, they'll process the strongest applications first, and so on... so the "points" somehow matters. But we dont have to worry coz I believe that all of us have the Chance to be screened. It's just a matter of time...

Good luck and GOD bless!

Hiiiiii frnds

I just wanna to know if they requested some information means sum docs then they give how much time to one to provide the information.
Thanks

I've filled my file on 28 February 2014. My file status is changed to information required. But i dont receive any email nor my sponsor. Tell me friends what should i do?? Replies r highly appreciated.

Thanks
Hey nik_jag,

First of all congratulations on the status change, this is good news! When did the status change? Please keep an eye on your e-mail (spam & junk folder as well) and make sure to check it regularly as they will probably send the request for "information required" to your e-mail or they might phone you or your supporter requesting the information/documentation.

Other than this, there is not anything you can do for now. If the status stays like that for a month or so I would be worried. But I believe it has only been a couple of days... :P

Welcome to the forum. The overall time frame to receive LOA for FS applicants is relatively low when compared to the GS. So I am thinking anytime between 5-6 months you should see a change in the status of your MPNP online profile. But remember all we can do is guess the time based on similar applicants (in your case checking with other FS applicants helps to get an idea) but it can be less or more. We may never know since the MPNP works on the applications on a case-by-case basis. So every applicant is different.

Being said that, the next step would be a change in your status..

1. Assessment Pending
2. Information Requested (if the MPNP needs any additional documents from you)
3. Assessment in Process (this is the time when you and your sponsor might get a phone call from the MPNP officer)
4. Assessment Complete (You should be receiving your LOA through mail in a week or two).

Good luck!

Hi! Thank u so much for the response. Now I have an idea on how to proceed. This is such a big help. I just hope that it will be processed soon, same goes for everybody. God bless us and good luck! :)

Hi. They will contact you soon by e-mail or by phone. Give it a couple of weeks. Then you can send them an e-mail saying that you haven't received any mail and request what kind of documents that they would want from you. Have patience. Everything would be ok. Good luck.

In mpnp after assessment completion what is the procedure to apply for further step.??

When you receive the LOA, you will be provided with the instructions as well. But since you asked, you have to go to CIC website, download the PR application package, collect your documents, and send it away... Finally the WAITING starts again :)
