hello.. just want to ask something regarding online application. im under family stream..

i submitted my online application last april 5, 2014
i received a confirmation last april 6, 2014 together with the file number.
also, i sent my SP2 at the mpnp website the same day (april 6, 2014), but until now i haven't receive any acknowledgement receipt. Sad , but i already have my application file number.

- what does the AOR look like? is it an email or literally receipt?

- when you submit your application online how did you receive the AOR?

Druce, you will be next in approx. 60 days, if we base it from Umair's timeline, since he applied 2 mos ahead of you.

I hope so as well. I honestly think I will have MPNP Certificate before end June 2015. Next year applications should go alot faster with the new initiative, they are trying for less than 6 months. I just hope everything turns out alright and that my cic app is also completed in 6 months - maybe i will have a white Christmas next year if all goes well. Thanks for being positive mate!

I am from Lichtenburg (North West Province near Mafikeng) in South Africa. and my timeline is very similar to yours. What a pleasure meeting another South African here going to Manitoba! Welcome to the forum.

My application status is also still received but if you have a look at the spreadsheet on this forum you will see that MPNP is currently working on February 2014 applications and that means we are not too far off. I believe we will have our MPNP Certificates before end June 2014.

Me my sponsor and my employer interviewed on 20 nov 14 and asked for documents updated bank stat and letter of employment T4s and ROE's

Hi umair110, congratulations on this, I trust you will have your Nomination Certificate in the next couple of weeks after supplying all documentation.
Just a couple of questions (maybe some other forum mates can shed some light on these questions as well?):
1) What questions did they ask you?
2) What questions did they ask your sponsor?
3) What questions did they ask your employer?
4) Did they ask your or your sponsors bank stat and letter of employment T4s and ROE's ?
5) What is a T4s and a ROE's ?
6) Were you aware that they will interview your employer?

I would not want them to interview my employer as this can cause the remaining period at my job to be a awkward time. i have not told my employer about my plans to immigrate. Should I notify them? Have anyone else had this case of employer being interviewed?

Sorry about all the questions but I believe that it is not long before my application changes status and I want to be fully prepared. Than you in advance for taking the time to answer my questions.

as i told earlier they asked all the questions which are previously answered in application and about my financial position current and he asked my sponsor for his job and after the interview with bith of us they asked to submit documents from supporter (current employment certificate ,tax documents ) and from me current bank statement till date ... i dont know what he asked my employer but i aware my employer that i applied for immig and may be those people would call you and asked about my profession ,duties and jov responsibilities so when employer get interviwed the HR informed me about that .... you should aware your's one

Thanks for your feedback Umair!

With your case, I have heard from you something that is not usual to other applicants...

1. They called your present employer (are you applying outside Canada?)
2. There are also cases wherein they'll not call the applicant, just the sponsor
3. And above all, you applied with 1 month old bank statement, then they requested you to submit the succeeding months now. With some cases, if the proof of funds (bank statement) is less than 6 months at the time of submission of documents with their application, they got denied during the assessment since they submitted less than the required 6-mos bank statement.
4. As per your timeline, you also didn't submit IELTS result right?

You are really lucky! I am happy for you!

Did you apply under "family stream"?
Are you in Canada right now?
How are you related to your sponsor?


current employer means where i work now in my home country
yes thry usually dont call applicants but sometimes they do
and as per your statement that those are not submitted there (mature) 6mnths bank stat. they are denied .. i didnt see even a single case because the policy is that you have to be a finance of 10,000CAD they asked me for statment because they want to know that currently i have that money or not

IELTS as per policy if you have not passed the exam you are not eligible to appply so obviously i have submitted it with application

Thank you for clarifying and answering the questions. Sorry about all of the questions but I think most of us still waiting for status change are really interested in what they ask, why they ask etc. etc.

Confuse and frustrated..

Like znarfier said, be POSITIVE jackpatel87. This probably will be one of the longest processes that you will have to endure in your life. Being positive and talking to forum mates that is in the same situation as you is the key to keeping it all together and becoming successful in this lengthy process.

Nobody really has a 100% idea of how the picking of applications at MPNP works. There is some guys on 2013 forum from September that just had their sponsor interviewed this week and some that are still waiting from June 2013. In the 2014 forum you will see some guys from Januaty, February and March being processed. All you can do is be positive - your thoughts become your reality...if you really believe in it.

I am positive that your application will also be processed early next year and that you will have your MPNP certificate before end June 2015.

Live your life to the fullest at your current destination as time goes by. Do not waste a second of life, it is too precious!
