Re: MPNP IMMI Dept conducting interviews at home!

Hi Guys,
Its been more than 5 months since I lodged my file with the dept. Yesterday I got a message form my supporter that MPNP officers are visiting my supporter's house to conduct an interview. While the online status still "Received"

Shocked!!!!

I think it could be another unseen part of Application management strategy to reduce the waiting times or could be something else... God Knows

Has anyone experienced this before ? Kindly Comment

Regards

This is a new approach. Normally they will just call the sponsor... this is kinda weird. ??? No offense meant. I'm just expressing my opinion. Any of our forum mates who had experience something similar to this, please share.

Re: MPNP IMMI Dept conducting interviews at home!

Hello Dear,

MPNP officers only call the supporter for interview almost in every case. Kindly provide some information you submit Application first time with MPNP or 2nd time with MPNP. If you submit your Application 2nd time in my opinion it is not possible to visit home because in canada every thing is online they can get information regarding supporter. I think there is some confusion. Kindly reconfirm with your's supporter. Kindly updates information. Wait for your's positive response.
Regards.Rashid

Congratulations!!! This is exciting news...and also a little bit confusing. Please send us an update once you receive any news or clarity on the matter. We are all eagerly awaiting your response ;D

HI Guys,
I couldn't get hold of my supporter and will post an update on this issue as soon as I get some vital and credible information. I am also completely shocked to the incident as its not a usual practice of handling the interviews.

My supporter is having an interview early next week and will update you guys accordingly.

Good Bye

Hello everyone,

A few questions about MPNP online application.

I've been updating my information to MPNP online application since last year (2013). I wasn't able to finish uploading needed documents, until I received an email from MPNP that they are closing the application Aug.'14 and will resume Jan.'15. I can navigate the system freely comparing to those who just created an account after Aug. with MPNP online application where in they can't continue right after filling in the first page.

My questions are, does anyone from here do have an idea how long the online assessment will take? Is it possible to submit the applicaiton without IELTS? Lastly, my application is complete and ready for submission, I am just a little bit hesitant for I have a clarification about liquid funds. Hope to hear some thoughts and information from you all!:) Thank you and God bless us all... :D

UPDATE: Our sponsor is done with the interview by the mpnp officer, they ask when was the last time they saw each other, When and where did we first met.
Timeline
Feb 4 2014 - Application submitted
Nov 4 2014 - Assessment Pending
Nov 9 2014 - Sponsor Interview done

Congratulations! Can you please supply more information on your application? Are you living in Canada or outside (if outside, which country) ? What occupation are you in? What was your point on the self assessment score ? How much funds did you give supply proof of in liquid capital? Did you apply under General or Family ? Have you included any family in your application? THIS IS VERY EXCITING NEWS FOR ALL 2014 APPLICANTS! :D

Also, was the sponsor interviewed telepathically or in person ? Was it at their premises (if so, where) or at the sponsors house (if so, where) ?
What types of questions were asked and what answers were given by your sponsor ?

I have never met my sponsor. Is it affact my mpnp application??. Sponsor is my brother in law..
Hi, I believe that this could influence your application or it could not. Is your sister living with your Brother in Law (seeing they are married) ?
Why have you not used your Sister as your sponsor ?
Have you stated in MPNP Application that you have never met?
I have just read the following post on the MPNP 2013 Batch that might shed some light/fear. Make sure you communicate with your brother in law a lot before his interview so that you get to know one another and that he knows how to answer the questions asked to him by the interviewer.

a bad news for me i got Refusal Letter by email last night Reasons

Application guidelines that can be found on www.immigratemanitoba.com clearly indicate that the Manitoba
Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) may not approve an application if the program officer is not satisfied
that the applicant has sufficient and confirmed settlement supports from a relative or friend who is an
established resident of Manitoba and has strong ties to the applicant. Based on the documents you submitted
in your application and phone interview with your supporter, you were not able to demonstrate you have
established a strong relationship to him. Therefore, your connection to Manitoba does not meet the criteria of
the MPNP and your application for nomination by the Province of Manitoba cannot be approved

But My supporter is my family friend and good relation with them.

Plz advice me what i have to do?

From my understanding, you have like 90 days to complete you application once you have started it online. If it is not completed after that time MPNP send you an e-mail to notify you that it will be deleted as you have not completed it in the required time frame. What does your status say when you log in ?

From what I understand from your post you have already submitted your application seeing that you can log in and upload documnets?

Have you submitted SP2 ?

From my understanding you IELTS or other language tests are a compulsory part of the application. Maybe you can submit but they will ask for it anyway. Why not just do it and submit it together to make sure it wont delay your application later on?

Currently, MPNP is assessing online applicantions from as far back as 2013 March to as early as February 2014 (from what I have read on these forums). It should speed up from 2015 as the Strategic Initiative have been put into place (thats why they have not taken in new apps from Aug 2014). Applications should be completed within 6 months from submission (from my understanding) but they have a backlog to complete first. So maybe 12 months or from submission till completion.

What clarity do you need on the settlement funds?

Thank you for replying to all the questions canilangcd. I am excited about your answers and sponsor being interviewed - this means I am not that far behind, maybe a couple of months or so.

Did they request any documents like new bank statements, IELTS, Proof of Residence or anything ?

yes! updated bank statement and my wife's passport since she is the principal. but the bank statement was been removed since they got an error saying "for a family of two, $13,+++.00 CAD is not enough" So we explain what is on the website and they say sorry, error on their part. Yesterday from "docs requested" - "assessment in process" hoping to be complete and receive the LOA before christmas. Early gift, hopefully.... :-*
