Hi inder2525:

Mind if I ask what did you do in Australia from 2009-2012?

Hello,

Me and my wife are just started trying to apply MPNP. We've been reading the threads with a lot of useful information, however, we're still confused about which one of us is better to be the principal applicant. Hope someone can give us some advices:

Me: stay in Winnipeg ~5 years, still a student in Phd program, no off-campus work experience.
My wife: came to Winnipeg more than 1 year ago, three years work experience in her professional area but not working in Winnipeg. Not very high level of English proficiency ~CLB 5-6.
Other criteria are the same for both of us.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

In my opinion, I think you should be the principal applicant. You have Canadian Education and it matters a lot that you are pursuing a PhD program.

Good luck.

I see, I already applied without uploading my results because i haven't written yet, does it mean i'm screwed?? I supposed to write the examen in the next month and i would like to know if I can still uploading the results in the section Add Documents, I guess I can due the fact that the process takes very long time but i'm not sure, and If i am already screwed what you suggest me to do? Thank you very much Einna. Regards.

Normally MPNP online application does not accept incomplete application. Did you check your account online? Your application may not be submitted yet, you might just uploaded your documents and it will stay active for 90 days I think.

Try to log back in to MPNP and check your application again.

Worst case scenario: Don't worry, if in case it went through without the IELTS result, they will just ask you to submit one. The downside is that it will cause further delay in processing your application.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

Hi guys and ladies I have question.my parents are living in Winnipeg for last one year and I have job living in Saskatoon.somebody told my parents that mpnp can reject your application if all family members are not living in Manitoba.can u tell me is that true or not.

I don't think so. If the sponsor is your parents and if they are capable of supporting a family member, there should be no problem if not all family member lives in Manitoba. The applicant just have to be clear and honest with their intention to live and settle in Manitoba.

We have MpNP 2014 facebook group

Is there any chance of job verification or interview after completed medical and paid RPRF

Hey guys New to the forum
Below is my update!
Applied on 10/07/2014
AOR received, 10/07/2014
SP2 Sent to supporter 10/07/2014
File No Received 11/07/2014

Some questions though:

1. Did you guys upload your FSLC (first school leaving cert) and SSCE or just SSCE?
2. Hope not having SSCE transcript will not be a problem ( i wonder how many govt secondary schools issue transcript)
3. I uploaded 3 months Statement with the required funds hope no wahala with this one (some forumites says its 6 months, but from the MPNP site they require 3 Months)
4. i Made a mistake in my first employment date i wrote Dec 2011 - Mar 2012 instead of Dec 2011 - Mar 2013, although in my adaptability form i wrote that i have 3 years experience and my letter of employment and reference letter attests to that fact. do i need to send them a mail to correct the mistake?

Thanks Guys

There's a new warning found on MPNP website. They will be stopping by July 31, 2014 to accept new applicants:

2014 Overseas Application Deadline: Under the new MPNP application management strategy, applications from skilled workers overseas must be received by the MPNP no later than July 31. MORE

Go to immigratemanitoba site for more info.

To those who are contemplating to apply, apply soon.

Inform all your relatives/family/friends who are interested to apply in MPNP to apply now.

To those rejected before, apply now!

To those who have chance of being refused, submit documents carefully!

It seems to me they are limiting applicants now and will just announce when will the program be available in the future (just like in parent immigrant visa applications).

To those who got in via MPNP on time, congrats!
