Copied and pasted this from the 2013 forum. Just so that everyone can see, know and believe that MPNP is busy with applications, interviews etc. Just keep your chin up and know that yours will be next in line and you will receive MPNP Certificate soon - all will be good and well at the end of the day.

They send the LOA with postal service. Depending on you postal address it may take up to 3 months. If you do not receive it after three months you are allowed to request them to resend it. Ask them to then post it to your supporter in Manitoba, they can then courier it to you. To all applicants who are still awaiting "status complete", change your postal address to that of your supporter, this will ensure your receipt of LOA quicker.
Thanks Druce for sharing the information. But in this forum I found that people usually receive LOA within two weeks of their status changing to "Assessment Complete". Is there any way to know that LOA has peen dispatched or not.

Hi Chayie
Loa is accompanied with green sticker label .you should put this infront of the envelop when you send your application package to CIC.this is use to identify which province has nominated you.

thanks rosy cheeks,
i dont know if i did it right, i put the green label on the outside of the envelop and then the courier put my envelop in their envelop also, will CIC can still see or notice the green label? thanks! how much time will i receive aknowlegdement from them?

I sent my certificates AND transcripts, as well as my educational credential assessment report.

I suppose being thorough is what you would go for, this would be less investigation and questions for them to ask you should they feel the need.

Your application should be sent in a manner in which they have NO reason to request for evidence to corroborate your statements. This will make the process easier for them and you, their job will be smoother and move your app to the next stage much swifter.

This is based only on the advise I was given when I went to Winnipeg for the seminar.

Others are welcome to share their opinions.

Cheers and keep the faith people.

Hi Chayie
I did the same thing too but I printed one more sticker with the same color and font format and put it outside the couriers envelop.I just want to make sure that they will notice my green label immediately.
The current trend for AOR now is 5 months.I sent my docs last Nov 2014,till now Im still waiting for AOR.the last applicant that got AOR was yesterday April 1, received by CIC last Oct 30.

In response to my e-mail to know the status of my application, I got the following reply:

Thank you for your e-mail. A letter of notification was mailed on March 5/15 to your mailing address that we have on file: (My address in India)
Please allow time for the mail to reach you.
If you do not receive your letter within 60 days from when it was sent, please send us an e-mail instructing us to re-send and to which address in Winnipeg we can send it to.

Just as I explained to you. A +1 for me :D

Well, at least you now know you are getting LOA ;)

Start preparing all your documentation for CIC, then you can submit a few days after receiving LOA. Your almost there, Manitoba is in sight for you.

Have you checked your status online?

Most February to May 2014 applicants status have changed recently from received to pending.

Hello Experts,

I hope you can provide guidance here. Planning to apply to the Manitoba PNP->Manitoba Support. However, I have a dilemma in terms of Adaptability -> Social Ties.

I have an Uncle in Manitoba. Not sure if he still qualifies as my "uncle" because his father is the brother of my grandfather, on my mother's side. Sorry if this is confusing.
At the least, this relation should qualify as a "friend". Is my assumption valid?

On the other hand, I have 2 Aunts and 1 Uncle in Ontario who are siblings of my mother. But Ontario does not have a program similar to Manitoba's. If they had, I would've been in Canada a long time ago.

My basis: The MPNP reserves the right to refuse your application if you cannot demonstrate your connection to Manitoba is stronger than your connection to another province.

Anyone's feedback is highly appreciated.

Thank you very much.
