It's because i knew that right after AOR and file transfer, MR would be next. The result of your medical exam will be forwarded by the clinic right after the test so no worries with the expiry of the exam and CIC will accept it even if there is no MR made.

Clever! :)

Since you already knew the CIC accredited clinics... then you just walked-in to one of them? :D

Cool!

"and CIC will accept it even if there is no MR made" - I have read somewhere that you have to wait for them to first send MR before doing it. How sure are you they will accept even is there is no MR made? Did you read this somewhere or have proof of this?

I am not trying to prove you wrong, I hope this is true so that I can do the same once I apply to CIC. It will speed up the process and ensure that we get Visa as soon as possible.

Where can I find a list of approved clinic/hospital/doctors where I can do medical in my country?

The Medical Report form from Visa Office is Barcoded and required by the panel clinics. How were you able to submit yours?

Druce, I have also read some posts in this forum where some applicants did medical "up front"... though at first I didnt pay attention to it... but with welito1125's post, I became interested to ask additional info! :D

@ Govender - thanks for the response. I though it is applicable for the principal applicant's only, like what we did in MPNP application. Do you have accompanying dependants?

thank again..

[Dear Druce, for my case, CIC send individual UCI # and form in PDF format, for each of the family member who will accompanying me. What I under stand, don't go for medical before CIC told to do so. CIC have certified Medical center you will find it in web site. select one medical center who have on line reporting system. Also cost may vary from medical to medical. Goodluck]

Thanks for the advice. I have also red numerous times on this forum, and others, that you MUST wait to get MR before doing it. Until I have concrete evidence that it can be done otherwise, this si what i will do.

Why is your PR taking so long? You submitted your meds like more than a year ago, any news from then?
